Tip 2 - Don't send all your questionnaire invites all at once


When you survey your audience - don't send all your emails at once.

Start small and move big. As you survey your audience you may find that you have a developing issue that you need to explore more.

An example of this situation:

How did you find out about product x ?

 • newspaper  
 • friend
 • Colleague
 • web search engine

As you run your questionnaire you find everybody is clicking "web search engine" - because you haven't surveyed your entire population - you can quickly go back and change your question to ?

How did you find out about product x ?

 • newspaper
 • friend
 • Google
 • MSN
 • Altavista.
 • Yahoo

If you follow the above advice you can go back and adapt your questionnaires as they run.
